Here are just a few of the small pieces I sell at the markets. Easy to make and replicate, they have proven very popular as garden ornaments.
Best of all, they lead to bigger and better commisions.

small wire bee

dragonfly

wire butterfly

You will have to forgive the quality of the photos as I havent got round to buying good photographic lights.

These are just wonderful! Funnily enough, I made some similar things in copper wire. I made an entire series of bugs. They're on 'stalks' so that you can push them into plant pots. They've weathered now so are a nice verdigris colour. What kind of size are these?

Wingspans of them all are around 300mm - 350mm (12" - 14"). They are welded mild steel so as they rust, they seem to 'bed' into their environment.

OK, they're quite a bit bigger than the ones I made then. Where I used to live in the UK, there was a very upmarket florist shop that used to make a tiny little wire insect and attach them to each bouquet they made. It was such a lovely touch. Hey, maybe you could make these and sell them to florists? Just a thought.
