As a lot of my sculptures are created with steel wire, the concept of negative space plays a big part. While I have never studied art and dont really know or understand the 'theory' behind it all, I find that wire, although having very little surface area, can be used to create almost any shape and texture.

That is so creative! Wow! I totally love it. I totally get it. It's a bit like me using my string in my paintings. Love how you've created a still life from wire. Superb!

Wonderful!! I love the lizard.. after living in Hawaii for 12 years you get used to geckos "inside" your house. I named them all "Tony", there was Kitchen Tony 1 and 2, tons of Baby Tony's, Tony One, Tony Too, .. on and on. Geckos love sugar.. and chocolate.. so I would feed my little house dwellers.. oh so cute with those little feet and pink tongues, not like a regular lizard. Anyway, off the subject of your lovely work.. Love the wire!

I love the fact that even though they are made of metal, they look delicate and light. Not what you'd expect from metal. I made a copper wire duck once, still have it, maybe I should post a picture of it.

Thanks for your coments. I love working with wire and still am amazed at how much life you can get out of plain fencing wire.
