Now I think I should have another go! lol Thanks Melanie. That's very interesting. Someone also told me that often on the internet, people want to buy a small artwork from an artist before they commit themselves to larger works. ACEO's would be a good idea for this reason.

I think ACEO's and ATC's are great. I've made several in fiber art but have not offered any for sale yet.

I also find the postcard size an excellent easy way to collect different artists' work.

Thanks. I hadn't thought of postcard size. That could work well.

Ooo... Claynfiber... I'd love to see the fiber ACEO's you made!

You could also make them out of clay!

I have one that is made from Polymerclay.... it's the most adorable little door with flowers all around. I stand it on a miniature easel.

I also have a quilted ACEO!

And I've made some needle felted ACEO's.

Wow! I never would have thought of making it out of other materials. That's a great idea.

Most of the ones I've made are quilted in some way. I have thought of making some clay ones but haven't got around to it yet. So far I have added some clay additions to the fiber ones.

I have a few of my fiber cards posted at my blogsite www.claynfiber.blogspot.com

I like how you showed your working paper before trimming, in one of your ACEO listings Melanie. That adds a nice touch to show the working process. (and beautiful paintings!)
