I'm not offended, I didn't have a clue! Find it all very interesting. Thanks all for the info.

Here's one of my ACEOs, (I just found my images on a disc, thought I'd lost them)

Moving on from ACEOs I also found OSWOA's to be quite fun to do. Standing for 'Original Small Works Of Art', they have to be 6 x 4 inches (and be original) I found that they allowed a bit more scope for creating a good composition, slightly less restricting than the 2.5 x 3.5 ACEOs. I found these attracted fewer bids but higher prices than the ACEOs when I was selling them on Ebay.

This is wonderful, as is all of your work. I have just gotten interested in ACEO's after having purchased a couple to support a thing called Nibblefest on Ebay. I would think it would be quite a challenge to do a painting or sketch in such a tiny format.

I just love these ACEO's and I do know that some artists actually work in miniature with them. I like them the best I think.

When I was little my aunt would send me watercolors in postcards and I cherished them. The ACEO's I have seen are even smaller.

Can all artists doe these? I somehow assumed that it was a kind of specialized method?

I have done by a friend that is really tantalizing in person! They seem to be a lot more nifty in person!

The only rule of an ACEO these days is that they measure 3.5" x 2.5". I've seen tiny pieces of felt work, little assemblage pieces, anything goes really. Here's one of mine. I should do more.

Well you know I would love those cherries, Cathy, so the cherries are tiny in a tiny picture, yes? or do some artists just do a cropped bit of a large painting?

I think you should do more too, they would really be a nice collection to have.

I just saw your regular sized cabbage painting in the treasury.

Would you for example do an ACEO like that in miniature? Or would you do only ACEO images separate from your larger works?
