Trouble with Facebook HTML? No worries! There are several ways in which you can add HTML codes to your Facebook profile or page. Three of the simplest are using the applications Extended Info, Profile HTML and Static FBML (for Pages).

How do I find the applications?
The easiest way to find things on Facebook, is the search function, located at the top of your screen.

How do I install the applications? Applications can be added to your page or profile by going to the application page (search function above) and adding the app to your profile and/or page. The installation instructions are easy to follow.

Errr…what now? If you have an installed application on your profile, opening the app can be done through the search page, edit links or by going to your Application Settings (upper right of the page) and opening the application for editing (you can also add to your tabs, boxes, etc from your application settings). If your application is on your “Fan” page, you can access the same settings by going to the “Edit Page” section (upper left, under your picture).

Profile HTML and Extended Info can be used on your profile “wall” page, boxes or as a tab. Once the app is installed, it is very simple: paste in your HTML code and save. Be sure to set your application so that the box and/or tab are “added” in your application permissions.

Static FBML is more versatile, but is intended for pages, not profiles. You can have as many FBML segments as needed, and locate them individually as you wish. This is how Moags and Smeet link our “Fan” page to TAS (on our boxes tab).

See the end results of these applications at:

Don’t be intimidated. HTML is easier to work with than you likely think – play with it. You will be happy with the results.

PS: HTML Code for the TAS badge is:
<a href="" target="_blank"><img src="" width="110" height="180" border="0" alt="Total Art Soul" name="Logo" border="0"></a>
