How to Draw a Human Head 9 Years, 2 Months ago
I found what I think is a good tutorial on how to draw a human head. It's explained in simple terms with great photos.

Interesting read, thanks for the post. Somewhere I have (had) a book that gave dimensions in relative terms that I found to be quite useful for starter points. These are for looking straight on, and you still have to factor in various perspectives skewing things, but it will get you in the ballpark.

Example:

The centerline for the eyes basically in horizontally across the center of the head.

Measure the width of the eyes - the eyes are generally one eye-width apart and the head is five eye-widths wide (and if I recall, the nose is one eye-width long?). The edges of the mouth generally line up with vertical lines dropped from the center of the pupils.

On the same magnitude, measure from top of the head to the chin.

The width of the upper body (from shoulder to shoulder) is two heads wide, and the length of the body is 7-8 heads (for men) and 6-7 heads (for women).

Now I wish I could find that book lol (or even the ISBN number for that matter).
