Wasn't sure whether to put this under "Drawings/Paintings" or "Digital Art", so I decided here to help nudge these threads along a little more hopefully.

I'm not a hardcore purist when it comes to the goal of getting a finished art project. In the case of digital paintings, I've found it immensely easier and less time consuming to jam out a graphite drawing and then import it into Photoshop.

The only touching up I've done on this one is with a standard round brush and the blending/smudging tool:

It's a detail view from part of a larger drawing (original is on 9"x12" paper). I *did* have a lot more done to it, but that was on my other system that decided to crash - still have yet to see if I can at least get the contents on the hard drive resurrected :::crossing fingers:::

This looks great! I hope you can access your other HD...

I have a few HD's I need things from as well, but I'm currently on a silly, limited laptop...

Thank you for the kudos. I like this particular one being in grayscale - it seems to give it more definition and I guess an ambiance, for lack of a better term. Still haven't decided on the style of horns for the succubus, though.
